Ohio State Buckeyes fans love running back Ezekiel Elliott, but they seem to love his dog Chase more. Thus, some must have been upset along with Elliott this morning when he tweeted that Chase had been stolen from his family’s home in Columbus.
#BuckeyeNation WE need your support ONCE again! Please return him safely! Thanks in advance! @EzekielElliott pic.twitter.com/23LXoEItdC

There’s no way of sugarcoating it. Losing a pet stinks, and worrying about them feels arguably worse. Hell, whenever one of mine is at the vet’s office for anything more than a standard checkup, I’m a panicking mess! To add insult to injury, this isn’t the first time Elliott has lost Chase.
Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. Local police found Chase and are returning him to Elliott.
All praise is due to God. The police found Chase. Their bringing him home! @EzekielElliott

Now that his furry friend is back, Elliott can put all of his focus on Ohio State’s big game against undefeated Indiana on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
