The Clemson Tigers have a big game this weekend against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at home and win or lose, it looks like the team is committed to looking sharp on the field in both play and uniform. Per a tweet from assistant coach Durrell Barry, it’s looking more and more like the team will be wearing chrome helmets for the primetime game.
Norte Dame sure does have some shiny helmets… 😏 #GoTigers

If Clemson is indeed wearing chrome helmets, fans will then know the source of the team’s good luck if it does indeed upset No. 6 Notre Dame at home. Bovada lists the game as a pick ’em at this point, so there’s no telling just who is favored.
Needless to say, Clemson will be Notre Dame’s biggest test of the season thus far and if coach Dabo Swinney’s boys are indeed playing with these chrome helmets on, they’re going to look like one intimidating squad on both sides of the ball.
Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
