Iowa State’s Jordan Wallace cited for alcohol-related incident

Iowa State Cycloness defensive back Jordan Wallace is in some trouble this week.

According to NBC Sports, Wallace, 18, was cited for underage possession of alcohol early on Sunday morning.

But head coach Paul Rhodes doesn’t seem to be too concerned with the citation, and in response he made this statement: “We are aware of the situation involving Jordan Wallace. We are now in the process of gathering more facts and information.”

Probably the only information they need to gather is that Wallace was just being a young college student with his friends on the weekend.

As a result of his underage drinking, according to The Des Moines Register, Wallace will be required to meet with the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student services to review the infraction.Wallace will also have to meet with a counselor to decide assess the severity of the problem.

Wallace has not played this season, but if he keeps up this behavior, he might not get the chance to play ever.
