Apparently, South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier’s rap knowledge is on “fleek”.
During a press conference on Tuesday, freshman quarterback of the Gamecocks, Lorenzo Nunez, said that there was a “zero percent chance” that his head coach knew who Lil Boosie is. According to USA TODAY’s For the Win, Spurrier was asked that if he knew the rapper and he gave one of the most Steve Spurrier-esque answers ever.

Of course, Spurrier was only joking as he said he only knew Lil Boosie is because he overhead Nunez talking about him, but it was still pretty funny to see the interviewer’s reaction. I’m sure he has heard some of the rapper’s music playing in the locker room.
It would be pretty great to see Spurrier dancing to a Lil Boosie song after a win one day. Of course, the Gamecocks would have to actually win a game that meant something first.
The Gamecocks next play the Missouri Tigers in Columbia on Saturday.
