Clemson Tigers star defensive end Shaq Lawson was injured early in his team’s Orange Bowl win over the Oklahoma Sooners on Thursday afternoon, but Tigers fans should not be too concerned.
While the injury kept Lawson out of much of the national semifinal, he said after the win that he’ll “be good” to go for the national championship game against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Jan. 11.
Talked to Shaq Lawson on the field. Said "he'll be good" to play in national championship and said reported bus incident did not happen.

If Lawson is indeed able to go, it will be a big boost for the Clemson defense.
Clemson and Alabama are set to kickoff at 8:20 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
