There was some shocking news on New Year’s Eve when it was learned that star TCU Horned Frogs quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested after a bar fight.
Boykin was slapped with a third-degree felony charge of assaulting a public servant, before being suspended for the team’s bowl game.
Following the news of his suspension, Boykin released a lengthy, heartfelt apology to all of those who he let down. However, that didn’t stop ESPN personality Herm Edwards from sounding off on the situation.
Edwards was addressing participants at the Under Armour High School All-American Game when he used Boykin’s situation to teach a lesson to all of the young players.
