4-star RB Devwah Whaley commits to Arkansas

Class of 2016 four-star running back Devwah Whaley, out of Central High School in Beaumont, Texas, about 90 miles away from Houston, today committed to Arkansas before the Under Armour All-American Game. Whaley’s decision was announced on Twitter by himself as well as others.

Whaley picked Arkansas over Georgia and Texas A&M and also had offers in hand from a number of other schools. Instead, he will head to Fayetteville and play for a coach in Bret Bielema who puts a lot of value on a powerful rushing attack.

Just how much he’ll play in 2016 remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt that Whaley could soon become an impact player in the Razorbacks’ offense.
