Arkansas WR Dominique Reed stretchered off field after scary hit

There was a scary scene in Memphis on Saturday, when Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Dominique Reed went down with a very frightening injury.

Reed took a big hit to the head from a Kansas State defender and immediately collapsed to the ground.

The medical staffs on hand wasted no time bringing out the stretcher and giving Reed the attention he required.

From the broadcast it was not clear, but ESPN’s Dawn Davenport reported she saw Reed moving his fingers and that Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema informed the team that the wide receiver was awake. That is positive news during the frightening time.

We wish Reed a full and speedy recovery.
