At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, Joey Bosa is as ready a person can physically be for the NFL. That along with his performance at Ohio State, it didn’t surprise many when it was recently announced he would be leaving Columbus early for the NFL Draft.
What did surprise people was how he ended his Buckeye career, with an ejection for targeting in the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame. Nonetheless, he will look back fondly on his time at Ohio State, and said as much in a heartfelt post on his Instagram account Saturday.
Not how I thought it would end but I wouldn’t trade my time at OSU for the world. I will forever cherish the relationships I’ve made and the lessons I’ve learned from being a buckeye. I can’t thank my friends, coaches, and family enough for helping me reach the position I am in today. I will always be a Buckeye! Go Bucks!!!
He might have ended his college career on a sour note, but there isn’t much doubt he’ll have more highs than lows at the next level. Many project him to be among the first players selected overall.
