In professional sports, there is one thing that you never do and that is go after the officials in charge. Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard O.J. Mayo did just that during Saturday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and he will likely face punishment for it.
During the game, he went down hard on a play that probably should have been a foul. No foul was called and he was pretty upset about it as he got in the face of Eli Roe, which earned him two technical fouls and an ejection.
He didn’t take the ejection too lightly as he was clearly upset and had to be restrained as he attempted to go after Roe.
Mayo has been in trouble with officials in the past and it’s pretty clear that he needs to get a handle on everything when it comes to his play on the court and his relationship with the referees.
