After hours and hours of speculation and wondering, Cleveland Browns — for now — quarterback Johnny Manziel has finally been spotted.
He’s actually at the team’s facility in Berea, Ohio.
Unfortunately for those in the news reporting field, Manziel won’t be talking to them. The reason given by the team was that Manziel won’t talk because he’s still in the concussion protocol.
Teammates were asked about the reports that Manziel was in Las Vegas on Sunday instead of reporting to the team’s facility for treatment, and reporters were given a couple different answers.
Defensive tackle Danny Shelton simply said that no one can really tell him what to do. Franchise left tackle Joe Thomas, however, was more direct with his thoughts on the matter.
“If that’s a true report that’s obvious for him some things are more important than football and being a starting quarterback and that’s something that probably needs to be addressed in the offseason,” he said.
He then added that he wants to see a commitment to the game from Manziel, and for him to show that he cares about the Cleveland Browns.
Sorry to say, but based on his actions, he doesn’t really care.
