The Cal Golden Bears had a successful season as they finished the year 8-5 with a win over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. The team will be losing quarterback Jared Goff to the NFL this year, but one of Goff’s top targets will follow him to the league as well.
Kenny Lawler was one of the Golden Bears’ top receivers this season and they will certainly miss him on the field in 2016. He announced his intentions to enter the Draft in April and head coach Sonny Dykes released a statement supporting Lawler in his decision.

Lawler had the second-most receiving touchdowns in the PAC-12 this season as he caught 52 passes for 658 yards and 13 scores. He had his best game of the season in what ended up being his final game as he snagged five receptions for 75 yards and three touchdowns against the Falcons.
He will certainly be coveted by many NFL teams next April as he was named to the All PAC-12 First Team this season.
