Ohio State’s football program is undergoing an exodus, to say the least, as so many players have opted to leave early and enter the NFL Draft. In response, freshman defensive end Sam Hubbard took to Twitter to make a vow to his outgoing teammates.
Congrats to everybody headed off to achieve their life-long dreams in the League. I promise you that we will carry on the tradition #gobucks
— Sam Hubbard (@Sam_Hubbard_) January 5, 2016
The good news is that Ohio State should still be quite the team in 2016, with quarterback J.T. Barrett returning and a bevy of young talent coming in, namely five-star defensive end Nick Bosa. On top of that,, Hubbard, who had 6.5 sacks this year, could prove to wind up being an excellent leader on defense and grooming the young talent to take their games to the next level.
