Texas A&M had a pretty terrible end to their season. Not only did they lose the Music City Bowl to Louisville, one of the only two SEC teams to lose their bowl game, they lost both of their starting quarterbacks to transfer.
A few weeks ago, Kyler Murray announced his intentions to transfer to Oklahoma. Kyle Allen will stay in-state as he transfers to Houston, as was reported by the Houston Chronicle.

Allen will have to sit out the 2016 season as he transfers within the FBS. He will be eligible to play in 2017, which works out perfectly as Greg War Jr. will play his final season in 2016 as well.
In 2015, Allen threw for 2.210 yards and 17 touchdowns against seven interceptions. This is certainly a huge pickup for head coach Tom Herman and the Cougars as they look to repeat their 2015 season which saw them go 13-1 and win the AAC championship and the Peach Bowl over Florida State.
