Report: LSU TE Dillon Gordon stabbed in bar fight, has non-life threatening injuries

The LSU Tigers were without one of their biggest players in the receiving corps most of this year after tight end Dillon Gordon suffered a torn Achilles and missed the rest of the season. He is now dealing with another injury that has nothing to do with football.

According to The Times-Picayune, Gordon was stabbed in a bar fight early Tuesday morning. The fight happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at popular Baton Rouge bar, Reggie’s.

Gordon was taken to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. This certainly seems to be more scary for Gordon and the Tigers, but he took to Twitter and it seemed like he was in good spirits.

Gordon hopes to return to the Tigers in 2016 as he is seeking an extra year of eligibility. The senior only played in two games this season before suffering the injury.

Hopefully he will stay away from any bars in the future, especially if he gets to return next season.
