The Louisville Cardinals have done a great job of using transfers to their advantage the last few seasons. This year, Damion Lee and Trey Lewis have both been big parts of their success and it looks like another transfer will be joining them for the 2016-17 season.
According to Card Chronicle, Penn basketball star Tony Hicks will transfer to Louisville for his senior season next year. The report says that he will transfer to Rick Pitino’s club after he graduates in May.
Hicks is sitting out this season to preserve his final year of eligibility. Many believed that he had intentions to transfer when he made that announcement in late 2015 and a tweet from him on Tuesday seems to confirm the reports.

During his three seasons at Penn, Hicks led the Quakers in scoring as he scored 14.9 points per game in the 2013-14 season.
