Stanford TE Austin Hooper declares for NFL Draft

The Stanford Cardinal have put some pretty talented tight ends into the NFL the last few years. Coby Fleener, Levine Toilolo, and Zach Ertz all come to mind when think of these guys.

It looks like the Cardinal will be sending one more talented player to the league this year. According to the team, Austin Hooper declared for the 2016 NFL Draft Monday evening.

During the 2015 season, Hooper was the team’s third-leading receiver as he caught 34 passes for 438 yards and six touchdowns. He was also named to the All-PAC 12 First Team, the Associated Press’s All-American Third Team, and was a Mackey Award Finalist.

He will certainly be a big addition for any team in the NFL as he looks to be drafted as a Day 2 type of guy.
