The loosy goosy black top style Stephen Curry possesses, attracts some fans and turns off others. He hoists bombs 40 feet from the cup and while it might seem a little ugly and self-oriented, the young guard hits them with consistency. He’s help resurrect a dead Warriors franchise, capped by last season’s NBA finals victory over LeBron James’ Cavaliers.
Nonetheless, he’s certainly not going to change for anyone. In a recent game against the Hornets, a game that saw Curry go for his usual 30 tagged with 11 assists, the combo guard bombed his dad– former pro Dell Curry– on live TV.
Elder Curry currently works as an analyst for Fox Sports News.
It’s clear by his reaction, Dell had no idea that sort of thing was about to happen. But boys will be boys. And it added a nice dimension to what can be a redundant pregame conversation.
