Originally from the Kalamazoo area, Conklin did an excellent job protecting quarterback Connor Cook’s blind side in 2015 despite missing some time himself with a knee issue. He has excellent size for left tackle at 6-foot-6, 325 pounds and depending on how his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis next month goes, don’t be surprised if he sneaks into the first round.
