Michigan State LT Jack Conklin declares for NFL Draft

Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin has declared for the NFL Draft and will not return to East Lansing for his senior season, according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

Originally from the Kalamazoo area, Conklin did an excellent job protecting quarterback Connor Cook’s blind side in 2015 despite missing some time himself with a knee issue. He has excellent size for left tackle at 6-foot-6, 325 pounds and depending on how his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis next month goes, don’t be surprised if he sneaks into the first round.
