West Virginia RB Wendell Smallwood declares for NFL Draft

West Virginia running back Wendell Smallwood has declared for the NFL Draft, according to a tweet from Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

A junior from Maryland, Smallwood led the Big 12 with 1,519 rush yards and nine touchdowns in 2015 and ends his college career with 2.462 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also caught 68 passes for 618 yards with the Mountaineers. Needless to say, a West Virginia offense that needs to up its game in the scoring department next season will miss him greatly.
