Texas State lineman Will Trevillion passes away at age 20

There is some sad news to report today in the college football world. Late Wednesday night, Texas State sophomore lineman Will Trevillion passed away at the age of 20.

While there has been no official cause of death, KXAN News is reporting their outlet “learned that [Trevillion] had a medical procedure a few months ago after having trouble breathing.”

An autopsy has been ordered to help uncover the official reasoning behind the young man’s death.

During the time of his passing, Trevillion was in his hometown of Austin.

After news of his death surfaced, Texas State took took to its official football Twitter account to share a brief statement and its condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family of Will Trevillion. The world lost an amazing young man today.

During his brief career with the Bobcats, Trevillion played in 14 games.
