My grandfather used to drop that analogy whenever talking about team sports, especially basketball, and he’s absolutely right. In the college game in particular, every team has its dominant player who, more often than not, is complemented by a second-in-command, go-to guy, whatever you want to call it.

The saddest part is that none of these players seem to get their due credit, with the big names on campus usually getting the lion’s share of the credit in spite of their teammates’ efforts. However, today is not that day.
