There’s no doubt that rapper Drake is a huge Kentucky basketball fan, but he may want to distance himself from the program a bit now that his involvement with it has resulted in a second NCAA violation by the team.
Per Kentucky.com, this violation comes from Wildcats guard Tyler Ulis simply taking a picture with Drake while backstage at one of his concerts.
Kentucky self-reported the Level III violation because of “preferential treatment.”

I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. First, Drake’s presence at Kentucky results in a violation just because he spent some time with recruits. OK, that’s fine, since he could have been seen as manipulative to the recruiting process, but taking a picture with a guy? Drake probably takes pictures with at least 1,000 people a week.
Granted, this does keep the NCAA away from a Kentucky program that contends for a national title year in and year out, but the fact that the university had to self-report something as harmless is this is just another reason why the system needs to be overhauled and reformed entirely.
