A lot of the time, you will hear people telling athletes that winning isn’t everything and that it’s just important to have fun. One team that would disagree with that is the Alabama Crimson Tide, namely offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.
Kiffin has never been shy about sharing his opinion and when he was talking with reporters at the College Football Playoff championship media day on Saturday, he was at it again. He talked about how the Crimson Tide didn’t care about having fun, but that they just want to bring home another national championship.
Lane Kiffin on Alabama: “I don’t think fun is a word used around our program much. We’re not here to have fun, we’re here to win”

If you didn’t believe the Crimson Tide were focused on their game Monday, you better believe it now. The Tide are going for their fourth national championship since 2009, so they have no reason to want to just “have fun.”
The Crimson Tide take the field in Phoenix on Monday against Clemson at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
