Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly to return for senior season

Ole Miss had a great season in 2015 as they went 10-3 and made their first Sugar Bowl appearance since 1969. The team has gotten gradually better the last half decade and they have a chance to do something special in 2016.

They will get a big boost from returning starting quarterback Chad Kelly. He announced on Monday that he would, unsurprisingly, return to school for his senior year.

Kelly, a transfer from Clemson, had a phenomenal year for the Rebels. He threw for 4,042 yards and 31 touchdowns against 13 interceptions, while rushing for 509 yards and ten touchdowns.

The Rebels will be losing Laquon Treadwell to the NFL this year, but return many of their pieces on offense, including Kelly’s second-leading receiver Quincy Adeboyejo.

If you aren’t a believer of the Rebels now, you should probably become one very soon. This team is for real and have a great chance of doing something big in 2016.
