Everett Dawkins trolls Clemson after loss

After Alabama beat Clemson last night 45-40 to win yet another national championship, former Florida State defensive tackle decided to troll the Tigers on Twitter with a unique kind of shade.

I’m not one for kicking someone when they’re down, but you have to give Dawkins points for creativity here. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney famously held a pizza partyΒ at Memorial Stadium last month for about 30,000 fans, after Clemson officially made the College Football Playoff, so Dawkins clearly thinks the party was a waste since the Tigers weren’t able to defeat the Crimson Tide.

But it’s alright, Clemson fans. There’s no reason to be sad. The Tigers have a lot going for them next season, namely the return of star quarterback Deshaun Watson for at least another year, while Dawkins is busy playing for the Brooklyn Bolts of the Fall Experimental Football League.

Either way, the Tigers still come out ahead in this one.
