Penn State wide receiver Geno Lewis announced yesterday that he was transferring to Oklahoma for his final season, and his father Junie took to Facebook to bash both head coach James Franklin and wide receivers coach Josh Gattis.
The elder Lewis’ rant was posted to Twitter by a fan.
Any recruit considering PSU should probably read this response from the mother of a #PSU player. #SnakeOil pic.twitter.com/bJIqxqSc96

OK, so it seems that there were issues between the Lewis family and how Geno was being used. He appeared in every game in 2015, but had just 17 catches for 196 yards and three touchdowns. He leaves Penn State after quarterback Christian Hackenberg has declared for the NFL Draft, and teammates Troy Reeder and Daquan Worley have also opted to transfer. Two assistant coaches have also left for the SEC.
That said, something seems to be going on in Happy Valley that caused Lewis’ father to post what he did, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates!
