On Tuesday night, the NFL owners passed a vote by a 30-2 margin that will allow the St. Louis Rams to relocate to Los Angeles as well as giving the San Diego Chargers the option to join them.
The plan for those two teams was chosen over the proposed plan by the Chargers and the Oakland Raiders by the owners. Now that the decision has been made, the question has come up regarding where the Rams, and possibly the Chargers, will play.
According to Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal, the University of Southern Californa has allowed the Rams and Chargers to play their games at the Los Angeles Coliseum for the next few seasons. The Inglewood Stadium site is expected to open in 2019
Assuming owners approve it, Inglewood stadium is expected to open in 2019, not 2018 as originally planned. 30 months too tight a timeline.

The original plan was for a 2018 season opening, but that may not be the case as stated above.
