Clemson DE Kevin Dodd declares for NFL Draft

Clemson defensive end Kevin Dodd has declared for the 2016 NFL Draft, just two days after his team lost to Alabama in the national championship game. Dodd’s decision was announced on Twitter by his new agency, Element Sports Group.

A former three-star recruit from the Greenville, South Carolina area, Dodd broke out as a pass-rusher in 2015 and had 62 tackles (24 for a loss) and 12.5 sacks for the Tigers. He has excellent size for his position at 6-foot-5, 280 pounds and depending on how well he performs at next month’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, he could very well end up being a high pick for teams needing front seven help.
