If there is one thing that the LSU Tigers have been missing the last few years, it is a good quarterback to lead them into the future. It looks like they could be getting that piece next season as an in-state transfer is set to visit them.
According to The Times-Picayune, former Tulane quarterback Tanner Lee will visit the Tigers this weekend. Lee announced his decision to transfer after the Green Wave hired Willie Fritz, who runs an option-heavy offense, to be their new head coach.
Lee started the past two seasons for the Green Wave as he threw for 3,601 yards and 23 touchdowns with 21 interceptions. He only played nine games in 2015 as he dealt with a broken finger.
Lee will also have to sit out the 2016 season if he transfers to the FBS level as he will not graduate this semester.
