The Alabama Crimson Tide capped off their 2015 season with another national championship on Monday. While they are losing a myriad of talent to the NFL this year, they will remain in prominence with a loaded class and a heap of talent returning as well.
One defensive player they believed they would lose to the NFL is linebacker Tim Williams. Despite being listed as a possible first-round pick, Williams announced on Twitter Wednesday that he would be returning for the 2016 season.
Coming back to play with my brothers. We can win this thing again baby!! RTR.

Williams only was credited with 19 tackles this season, but 12.5 of them were for loss. He also was second on the team with 10.5 sacks, so I’m the Crimson Tide is happy to welcome him back.
He talked with AL.com on Saturday and revealed that his draft grade listed him as a late first or early second round pick. He said that he would want to come back to prove that he isn’t just a pass rusher.
âIf I do come back, that would be my main focus, to show them that I can play the run,â Williams said. âThatâs my main motivation behind coming back if I come back.â
