LSU DE Lewis Neal announces return for senior season in 2016

The LSU Tigers had one of the best defensive lines in the entire country in 2015 and it looks like they will continue to do so in 2016 as well. They won’t be losing any pieces on the front line to the NFL Draft after their final piece announced his intentions to return.

Defensive end Lewis Neal was one of the key pieces to the Tigers’ success this year and LSU will be happy to know that he will be returning for his final season. Neal announced the news via Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Neal brings a lot of experience to the Tigers’ young defensive line, which boasts talented freshman Arden Key. Neal had a big year for LSU, recording 43 tackles, 8.5 for loss, and seven sacks.

Defensive coordinator Dave Aranda hasn’t even seen the sidelines for his first year with the Tigers, but it is already off to a terrific start.
