San Francisco 49ers hire Chip Kelly as next head coach

Chip Kelly didn’t take long to find a new head coaching job in the NFL after being let go by the Philadelphia Eagles. On Thursday, shortly after reports that the San Francisco 49ers were closing in on their head coach, it was announced by CEO Jed York that Kelly would be the man.

Throughout the three seasons that Kelly coached the Eagles, he ended with a 26-21 record, while missing the playoffs the past two seasons.

How will Chip Kelly fair in the Bay Area? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts.
