Alabama tops final ESPN FPI rankings, Clemson number 5

The college football season is over and we have crowned Alabama as the national champions once again. ESPN released its final FPI rankings on Thursday and it’s not surprise to see the Clemson Tigers fall from their number two ranking.

According to Tigernet, the Tigers fell to number five in the final FPI rankings after their 45-40 loss to the Crimson Tide on Monday. Surprisingly, Oklahoma, who was atop the rankings for much of the end of the season, was ranked above the Tigers, who defeated the Sooners 37-17.
