When nature calls, it’s hard to ignore. Just like when you’re at your desk and you need to go, NBA players need to go too. And despite how irregular of a work environment an NBA game might seem, that’s exactly what it is for NBA players and coaches, as Sixers center Nerlens Noel can attest to.
Therefore, news that Noel had to take a bathroom break really isn’t significant at all. The fact that he missed the opening tip with the Bulls Thursday night makes it so.
The Sixers said that Noel had “light nausea.” Carl Landry took Noel’s place in the starting lineup and scored four points. Noel came back in at the 8:11 mark.
