Alabama DE Jonathan Allen returning for senior season

The Alabama Crimson Tide are losing a ton of talent to the NFL Draft, but it looks like they are getting a good bit back as well. Safety Eddie Jackson announced earlier this week that he would return for his senior season and, on Saturday, another joined him.

Defensive end Jonathan Allen was one of the most talented players for the 2015 season. He announced via Twitter that he would return for his senior season, hinting that he is ready to bring home another national championship.

Yep, the Crimson Tide defense is going to be scary good and elite once again. There’s certainly no reason why the Crimson Tide wouldn’t be considered one of the best teams in the country to begin the year.

During the 2015 season, Allen, who had been given a first-round draft grade, led the Crimson Tide with 12 sacks.
