Alabama loses 4-star DT to SEC West foe

Alabama may have just won the National Championship, but they just lost a 4-star recruit to an SEC West foe. Defensive tackle Raekwon Davis visited Mississippi State in Starkville over the weekend and committed to be a member of the Bulldog family. This comes as a shock because Davis was committed to Alabama since the summer of 2014.

The flip of #ESPN300 DT @Raekwondavis_99 from #Alabama to #HailState provides some needed momentum. Huge stretch for MissState right now

Alabama already lost stellar defensive tackle A’shawn Robinson to the NFL Draft and with Jonathan Allen returning next season, the 6-foot-6, 327-pound Davis would have been a huge addition to the Crimson Tide front seven. Now, they will have to worry about him wreaking havoc against their offense next season in maroon and white.
