Arkansas RB Kody Walker returning for sixth season

Arkansas running back Kody Walker will return to the Hogs for a sixth season, coach Bret Bielema announced during a media session today.

Walker, a former three-star recruit from Missouri, was second on the team behind Alex Collins with 394 yards and six touchdowns. With Collins headed to the NFL, all signs point to Walker being Bielema’s new bellcow running back.

But that all depends on Walker’s health. His time in Fayetteville has been defined by his inability to avoid the injury bug. He has dealt with everything from a bum ankle to a broken leg and if he can stay off the trainer’s table between now and the start of the 2016 season, Arkansas’s rushing attack should be among the best in the SEC.
