If college basketball had a commercial featuring the gods of college basketball like FS1 does with the “gods” of college football, only Dick Vitale would need to be in it. He IS college hoops BAABY!!
Therefore, when he dismisses rumors as ridiculous, like he did the supposed story that Rick Pitino is interested in leaving Louisville for UNLV, it should be taken as gospel, one punctuated to properly display emotion in a way only Dick Vitale can.

Jokes aside, would Pitino really be looking to leave Louisville and their recent scandal (don’t forget Pitino’s own slip-ups) for Vegas? I mean, maybe they’d be better at keeping it to themselves, because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?
