Yelp is a great way to find a place to eat, drink, find any service you need. It’s also a fine way for establishments to shut down snooty “Yelpers,” all of whom think that having an account there makes them an established critic whose word is gold.
One Yelper learned that the hard way after visiting one of my favorite spots in New York City, the Iron Horse bar.
Check it out!
I’m going to level with you, dear readers. I’ve spent my fair share of evenings at the Iron Horse. One New Year’s Eve, my friend and I got up on the bar and danced to “Gangnam Style.”
Another evening, we put $100 in the juke box and became the most polarizing people at the bar. I think my cousin still has the high score on Buck Hunter there.
Simply put, if you’re looking for what most would call a classy experience, don’t go there. If you do, and complain about the environment, you now know what will happen!
