Miami OL Joe Brown to transfer from school

The Miami Hurricanes seem to have a great future ahead of them with new head coach Mark Richt ready to bring success. They will have to do it without a key piece of their offensive line.

On Saturday, redshirt freshman offensive lineman Joe Brown announced that he intends to transfer from the school. He made the announcement in a press release.

“The University of Miami is a great place and I will be forever thankful for the opportunity this institution gave me,” Brown said. “However at this point in my collegiate career, I believe this is the best move for my future.”

Brown redshirted in 2014 and then played in seven games in 2015. He started three games through the season.
