Ohio State has leaped ahead of Michigan into the No. 2 spot in the latest 247 recruiting rankings following the Buckeyes landing four-star receiver Binjimen Victor.

Even though Michigan was never on Victor’s radar, as Ohio State won out of a top three that also featured West Virginia and Tennessee, this is a coup for the Buckeyes. Top pass-catchers Michael Thomas and Jalin Marshall are both headed to the NFL, and the 6-foot-4 Victor fills an immediate need for the team.
Ohio State still has a long way to go before overtaking LSU for the top spot, but this is certainly a step in the right direction.
