Class of 2016 four-star quarterback Dwayne Haskins has flipped his commitment from Maryland to Ohio State, according to a tweet from Tom VanHaaren of ESPN.
Currently at the Bullis School in the Washington DC area, Haskins is a huge get for the Buckeyes. The program just lost a number of key players to the NFL Draft, including backup quarterback Cardale Jones who led the team to a national title a year ago when J.T Barrett was injured. The addition of Haskins gives coach Urban Meyer some insurance behind Barrett and should also make for a smooth transition for when Barrett decides to take the next step.
