Video: Oregon State player get ejected for tripping referee

If you make contact with a referee or official during a sporting event, you are begging to be booted from the game. If you intentionally trip a referee, you know an ejection is coming.

That didn’t seem to stop Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid, however.

Over the weekend, Reid was unhappy with the referee’s decision not to call a foul as he scrambled for a loose ball. So, rather than trying to plead his case, Reid simply stuck out his foot to knock the referee to the ground.

The ejection quickly followed and Utah went on to win the game.

After the Pac-12 reviews the play, it would be a shock if he is not suspended.
