Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh made headlines last week when he slept over at the home of top kicking recruit Quinn Nordin, and it now appears that an overnight visit to another recruit is in the works.
According to Brice Marich of Scout, Harbaugh will head to Phoenix and sleep at the home of Brophy Prep star defensive end Connor Murphy.
It’s certainly an unconventional approach and redefines the term “home visit,” something coaches do on every recruiting trip. But in Harbaugh’s case, it appears to be working. Brandon Justice of SB Nation recently spoke to the aforementioned Nordin, who Harbaugh visited despite Nordin being verbally committed to Penn State, and apparently the visit went great.
That said, if Nordin’s visit went that well, why should Harbaugh stop now? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
