Los Angeles Rams have their first season-ticket holder

It’s been less than a week since the NFL announced that the Rams were moving back to Los Angeles for the 2016 season, but the team already has their first season-ticket holder.

The very first person to make a deposit was none other than Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson. The team decided it was big enough news to make a post on Twitter about it, which then got a response from Johnson himself.

With Johnson as a season-ticket holder, there is no doubt going to be some chatter among sports fans in Los Angeles. Johnson is one of the greatest sports figures in the city’s history, and has a lot of pull among the community. If he is in on the Rams, many will likely want to follow suit.

We’re still far too early into this to tell if the NFL will finally work in Los Angeles, but this is a pretty great start for the Rams.

The question now is whether Johnson will become a Chargers season-ticket holder as well.
