4-star Michigan commit considering other schools, decision coming National Signing Day

Class of 2016 four-star wide receiver Nate Johnson is committed to Michigan, but is also considering Miami and Notre Dame and will announce his final decision on National Signing Day, on February 3.

Robinson, who currently attends Independence High School in the Nashville area, reiterated that timeline in a statement on his Twitter.

Johnson committed to Michigan after his official visit to Ann Arbor in December and has since visited Miami and Notre Dame. Both programs could use help at receiver, with the Hurricanes about to undergo a full rebuild under former Georgia coach Mark Richt and the Fighting Irish losing top wideout Will Fuller to the upcoming NFL Draft. Michigan is also on the upswing thanks to coach Jim Harbaugh, but these other schools are still in the picture for a reason and cannot be counted out at all.
