In early 2015, former USC tight end Bryce Dixon was kicked off the team for a student misconduct issue. It looks like he didn’t really learn how to stay out of trouble as he was recently arrested.
TMZ reported that the former Trojan was arrested Tuesday night for carjacking near the campus. He was booked and had his bail set $100,000.
As a freshman in 2014, Dixon caught 14 passes for 194 yards and four touchdowns in seven appearances. To say that he had a promising career ahead of him in Pasadena would be an understatement.
The former four-star member of the Trojans’ 2014 recruiting class looked to be a big piece for USC’s offense, especially after being ranked as the number two tight end in the country out of St. Bonaventure High School. Now, he is just hoping to possibly get a fresh start somewhere, but it will be tough to overcome this latest incident.
