The LSU Tigers for the first time in a long time will have a large class of talented seniors. They are only losing one underclassmen to the NFL Draft and that player is offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins.
Hawkins had already declared for the NFL Draft just a month ago, but he has made his decision official and final. On Tuesday, it was reported by NFL Network’s Rand Getlin that Hawkins had signed with Damarius Bilbo, an NFL agent.

Hawkins has started all 37 games in which he has appeared the last three seasons and only missed one in 2015 due to a leg injury. He started 26 consecutive games before the 2015 season, meaning his absence will certainly put a dent in the Tigers’ offensive line for the 2016 season.
