Those participating in the East-West Shrine Game had quite the guest in attendance today, as Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston stopped by to support former Florida State teammates in linebacker Terrance Smith and defensive tackle Nile Lawrence-Staple. Winston’s presence was reported on Twitter by Greg Auman of The Tampa Bay Times.

It just goes to show how much of a class act Winston can be. Too many former college stars forget where they came from after making it big in the NFL and yet, here is Winston taking time out of his busy and exciting NFL lifestyle to visit former teammates and cheer them on as they prepare to play in, essentially, college football’s all-star game.
It’s a small gesture on Winston’s part, but a significant one nonetheless.
